Grilling Out With Friends

Today I am in real danger of missing the deadline for BEDA for the first time-in three days. Basically I learned that if it's a Saturday and you sleep in and then fool around for an hour or two before actually deciding to do work, then tidying up your room, then showering and going over to a friend's house for a grill out, and then decide to watch a movie and get home at 11:00pm, then start to watch SNL, you might forget to start your blog for the day. This is not to say that I wasn't thinking of ideas all day, it's just that I wasn't in a position to actually write them down....yes, I'm explaining myself away.

So, as the title states I did in fact have a very lovely grill out today with my lovely friends. We grilled hotdogs, ate chips and pop with grenadine and played frisbee. I also was the driver to drop someone off and took 6 people in my car, which is a lot considering it's a Buick (it can hold that many people but it means that I bottom out at EVERY dip in the road!) That was an interesting few miles!

I also got to chat with a friend of mine on facebook and we discovered that we both love podcasts and that we in fact listen to a couple of the same ones: Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me! and The Irish and Celtic Music Podcast, which I am, at this moment, listening to. And just three minutes ago I was typing along to the speed of a drinking song. It really got me going! So I believe that's it today. Hopefully tomorrow's topic will be of more substance.
